This company is ridiculous.
Per this company’s website says
“Continental Finance is committed to providing consumers with superior customer service.” Let me add I have yet to receive this service. I applied for a CC & was approved In Aug 2024 it is Nov 2024 and I just received a card from this company. I activated card through app and noticed when I tried to make a small purchase card would not go through. I contacted customer service center and was told “Your card has been blocked due to proof of address” whaaat ? Not the address needs to be verified after I receive card in the mail (backwards). I was told to send bill to cfcbackoffice.com I sent that 2 sundays ago. Everytime I call this company they blame it on their back office lets not mention if I ask representatives to speak with manager they reply “management will only tell you what I have told you” how disrespectful is that? I was initially told it can take up to 72 hours well it took 96 hours just to upload bill to my account now I’m being told it can take up to 72 hours to review which I’m currently 72 hours in and was told to call back tomorrow. The amount of times I have called this company is ridiculous they have dropped a ball rather than picking it up and sticking to their mission statement on their website they choose to stress their clients out. This is absolutely unacceptable this company will fail tremendously if they do not re train/Hire people who cares about their core values & customer satisfaction.

BEWARE!! SCAMMERS!!!

I have been trying to get a refund of the processing fee since November 22nd when K activated and immediately canceled the card!! I've been told so many different things from their representatives: a check is being mailed, they don't mail checks, it's being paid back to original debit card, it's being worked on in "the back office" and my personal favorite, "it's in processing for 72 hours."

They are thieves and will steal your money if you let them. Avoid this company and their credit cards at all costs!

I have two credit cards with continental finance..and I'm impressed with them both. I was approved right away for both cars with credit lines that will improve my credit score. For the first time I used credit protection, and they paid my cards for 4 months. I coulnt b happier for their customer service, and ability to work for and with customers who require additional assistance with their Accts. Thank you, JKay

Just one of those greedy loan shark credit card companies that don't know when to quit. I've been with them since 2021, and have never missed a payment. Never asked for a limit increase, but they keep giving them to me. Now they charge a monthly maintenance fee of $15. Plus an annual fee that was $0 when I signed up, but has increased to $89. Now I got an email that says interest rates will be 35%, annual fee will be $125?

They could have had a life long card holder. Now they will get one more payment from me before I close my account.

Stop nickel and diming people. Stop adding a fee to everything you do. Literally I have never called or talked to customer service ever in 4 years of being your customer. Today the lady on the phone could only say, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

If your so sorry than do something to solve the inconvenience!!!

You created it! You fix it!! Good riddens!! How did you think this was going to work out in your favor? You just deleted a stream of revenue because you wanted $30 more dollars

Absolutely horrible, I appreciate the fact that they approved me when my credit was low, I was never late or missed a payment, for them to turn around and raise interest rates to 35.99% adding a 125$ annual fee along with a monthly 15$ maintenance fee is insane! I have been trying to close both of my accounts and can't seem to get this accomplished " there's an issue processing your request, please call back later" This is a predatory practice stopping people from closing their accounts so they can bathe in the money ? that they make on all those fees.. how do you charge a monthly maintenance fee of 15$ ?There is no one but your flimsy system maintaining my account as well as me, faithfully paying my bill each month. My account is paid off and I will get them closed. Shame on you ! Also Customer Service seems to be non existent.

Terrible Company - You can't speak to an agent when you call, it goes to automated system. You have to let it wrap around a few times before it connects to an agent who rarely speaks much English. When they don't understand the question you are asking them, they disconnect the call. I filed a credit protection claim and they do not pay the minimum due so they pay a big $35 and then they charge you $41 in late fees so you balance just keeps going up. They tell you to call credit protection who tells you that the fees are charged by the bank and to call Continental Finance who goes and tells you to call Credit Protection. It's a never ending run around. It took 6 calls to get them to reverse one of the late fees but they could not guarantee that I wouldn't be charged another fee because of the credit protection paying less than the minimum due. SO basically the balance will keep going up.

Closed my credit card! Poor customer service, charges fee after fee and doesn't support customer excellence! I will no longer do business with a company that takes advantage of hard working Americans. Continental Finance, YOUR FIRED!!

I received a pre approved credit card from Surge financed through continental financial, my first payment was due on the July 7. I am 72 and retired. I send out all my payments from my bank and on the first. I didn’t know that they actually had to I mail out Surge checks. I when checked and found out that the check hadn’t been received on the 7th , I called the payment. For that l was charged 2 stop for payment fees and other fees that I knew nothing of. They have declined sending me a payment list of anytime I have paid. They have no dependability.
